Goals That Keep Us Moving Ahead

I don’t know about you but, I’ve had thoughts about quitting my job as a homeschooling mom more often than I’d like to admit.

The days are long, the tasks are too many, the kids don’t always listen and the pay is for the birds.

Social media influencers can make it look so magical and easy, but the real homeschooling mom, that’s down in the trenches day in and day out knows that the work often feels more like walking through sludge than like magic.

But we do it anyway.

We keep trudging along because we have a goal in mind.

The goal of spending time leading the hearts of our children to the true Shepard.

The goal of having them see our faith lived out in action.

We keep going because we know that the time flies by ever so quickly and the Lord promises us that it wont be wasted time.

Today as you go about your day rejoice in the promise that if you do not give up, your work will be rewarded.
