Are you guarding your quiet times?

ree

The one thing that has the most impact on our day is the time that we choose to spend in prayer and reading the Word of God.

Even after 21 years of quiet times, I can still struggle to make it a priority during hard or busy seasons.

It's easy to wake up and hit the ground running in an attempt to complete all of the tasks on our to-do list, but let me encourage you to make your quiet time the first to-do on your list.

Your time with the Lord is the shortcut to your success because He already knows what you'll face today.

He knows how the enemy will attack you, He knows how your kids will misbehave and He even knows what discipline they'll need.

He knows what temptations you'll face and how you can bless your husband and children.

No matter how much time you have, stop and sit with the Lord today if you haven't already.

Receive the strength, peace and patience that only He can give, so that you can serve well all of the people that He has placed in your care for the day.
